Camping at Little Cultus Lake

We did this trip in the last weekend of Aug (yeah, I'm a little behind on posting these). It was just Ry, Alletta, and I for most of the trip. Ashley and Calvin did join us for the final night though. Next summer we hope we can organize a larger camping trip with both family and friends.

Goodbye to the Best Dog in the World

My sister just told me that my aunt Theresa's dog, Buoy (sp?) is dead. He was hit by a car near her house.

He was the best dog I've ever known. I saw him grow from a crazy water loving puppy to the sweet dog who would also makes sure that all of us in his flock were safe. One of my favorite memories is sitting with him on the dock at Lake Billy Chinook while I watched the stars. He came up, sat next me for a while I hug him and scratched him. Then got up after a while and went to bed. He was just making sure I was safe.

Because of him I now want to have a dog of my own some day. I just can't believe he's dead. I'll miss you Boo-dog.
