It's called satire people, look it up

I wasn't going to post about this because I thought it was too ridiculous. What I'm talking about is of course the recent controversial cover to the New Yorker.
I heard about this on NPR long before I saw the actual image. I was expecting something far far worse. When I did finally see it, I thought it was pretty fucking funny. Come people, do we need to review the definition of satire?

What prompted this post was the spoofs of this cover. Both found thanks to the Slog. I personally think the one for the National Review is the best, but both have their merits.
